Teacher's information

Implementing the Challenge in your school is easy!

The London Schools Hydrogen Challenge provides three types of teaching resources:

  • Interactive lessons
  • Info-activities
  • Information sheets

The resources are designed to engage students and importantly make it easy for teachers to integrate them into lesson plans, linking into the Key Stage 3 National Curriculum.

As students work their way through the Challenge resources they will learn more about the problems with non-renewable energy, the need for renewable energy, the role of hydrogen in sustainable development and the science behind hydrogen technology.

For information on implementing the Challenge in your school, including details about the learning objectives, independent learning opportunities and cross curricular connectivity for each lesson, download the Challenge teacher guidelines.
